A chilly start to winter at Belle Le Vie.

The 9th June Dandenong Ranges Storm situation.

We consider safety for guests and staff to be paramount.

Since 9th of June 2021, the Dandenong Ranges suffered unprecedented damage from a devastating storm.

We had no power, no internet and no landline. Only recently power has been restored. Yet we still have much clean up to do.

Here is the latest information from VIC Emergency website https://www.emergency.vic.gov.au/.

This message is being issued for Areas impacted by the Dandenong Ranges Storm Event June 2021.

    • A severe weather event impacted Melbourne's outer east and Dandenongs on the 9th and 10th of June 2021.
    • There remains a significant risk of trees falling without warning, due to the existing soil moisture and the threat of overhanging trees caused by the severe weather event.
    • Power, telecommunications and roads have been heavily impacted.
    • There are still properties without power in the area.
    • Works to restore power is continuing and these areas will experience progressive restoration until 10 July.
